Instead of working on on a piece of card and then attaching it to the main card I worked straight onto an A5 cream hammer card.

I carried out the usual procedure for iris folding - cutting out the design on the card, placing the pattern on the right side of the card and working on the back with folded pieces of shimmer paper.

When I'd completed this I hid the work on the inside of the card with another cream hammer card cut to A4 size.

I adhered this with strong double sided tape.

I completed the front of the card by adding Stickles around the edges of the bauble and the hook (the cap was a piece of the shimmer paper glued on) and stuck on a sentiment, and silver peel offs to frame the work.

This is a lovely design and one that allows you to chose whatever colours you are happy with.
