Christmas Tree Iris Folding Template and Paper StripsCompleted by Donna Ritchie

This pattern is so much fun and contains EVERYTHING you need to complete your card except the base card itself. I printed the design on plain copy paper, cut the green strips and chose to use only the centre, patterned brown strip. I cut the tree shape from some patterned card and completed the iris folding following the pattern. I alternated the green strips, which gives a lovely shading effect and cut the brown strip in half lengthwise so that I had enough for the trunk.

I completed the card by flat sticking the completed design to my base card and outlining the edges with Distress marker 'Pine needles'.

The perfect quick card for that person you left off your list but who sends you a card this year.
