Christmas Rose Iris Folding Card
This pattern is ideal for using up old cards and papers such as wrapping paper, leaflets and catalogs. For best results as it is so detailed do not fold papers but use single strips.
You need three or more different papers for this iris-folding card, done in the usual manner. The twist is that you first cut out a flower head outline. Tape it to the pattern and complete, trimming around the edges. Cut out the leaves in dark green and arrange on a card as shown, or make up your own design. Also included is a bud and a petal which you can group to make a side view flower which is not iris folded. Use dots of 3D paint, glitter or no-hole tiny beads for center. Complete with tags.

I cut the flower image out of the mat and completed the iris folding following the pattern. I added the leaves, the gem stone and the greeting. Then I attached it onto the mat and the base card.
