This design is quick and easy to make. I love the fact that the shapes for the windows are included - this makes the cutting of these extra pieces very simple. Before starting to add strips carefully compare the finished picture with the pattern and mark which strips are the wing - I colour that section of the pattern so that I can't forget.

I then used various quilling strips to make up the design - holographic for the water and metallic for the propeller. I added the windows from plain paper, outlined with fineliner then flat stuck the completed design to my base card.

We have quite a few holiday resorts in Australia located on islands accessible by seaplane. This design is perfect for holiday wishes.
