Pink ButterflyCompleted by Hazel Pepper

I printed this sheet twice onto card, one for the pattern and one as a template. I cut out the template and the paper piecing elements, and traced the design onto the back of a piece of 11cm x 9cm white card.

I cut out the wings and used two pinks to iris fold the wings. I cut the paper piecing elements from dark purple card, and attached them to the butterfly. I mounted the design onto pink paper, using 2mm foam pads, then onto dark purple card and mounted them onto a 5x7 inch card blank.

I used off cuts to make the border strip and used peel offs to finish the design.
