Parrot Bird Iris Folding Patterns

I cut the parrot from this beautiful Graphic45 cardstock and did the iris folding with metallic florist papers. I'm new to iris folding and wasn't sure how to go about it, but was pleased with the result.

I added little flower stickers with rhinestone centers and a couple of 3D leaves cut from the background paper, overlapping the bird slightly.

Finished with a few tiny

enlarged the parrot and used a combination of paper iris folding and paper piecing. I used black yellow blue and red paper. I cut out a black tree limb and put it on after I finished the parrot.
