Scottie Dog Iris Folding PatternCompleted by Karen Cogan

This sheet provides two sizes of the pattern to fit an A5 or A6 card. I printed the sheet onto card & cut out the A6 template. I then got some black card & drew round the template & cut out the shape.

I also printed a backing paper I already had that was patterned with roses in shades of grey and used this sheet to create the iris folding strips.

I built the pattern as instructed using tape to hold everything in place. I then attached the completed design to an A5 mottled grey card base using ds tape.

I then cut a frame from another backing paper I had which was of a similar pattern to the previous one but was nearly black.

After attaching this to overlap the edges of the black card I added silver peel off borders & finished the card off with a greeting.

A really effective card using an easy template with no corner folds.
