This pattern is not true Iris Folding, nor even Fancy Folding, but a combination of slicing, folding and weaving.
It is truly outstanding when complete and makes a great card for any occasion, as well as beautiful framed artwork, as the sample shows. (I have this piece hanging in my studio) You will absolutely love the Art Deco 'feel' of this piece!

I printed and cut the design in an A5 hammer card and laced the design using iris folding paper. I decoupaged a flower in sympathetic colours on the opposite side of the card and finished the using peel offs.
