Tartan Insert for 5 Inch CardCompleted by Marion Kimberley-Scott - The Crafty Piper

After printing out the design I decided to make a card topper with the tartan half (Image 1) which I mounted onto black card with DST and trimmed to leave a narrow border, before securing to front of cream base card.

I then secured a cream die-cut 'doily' to the centre with DST and added a die-cut 'Scottie' (to which I had added a gold ribbon collar) with foam pads.

The other half of the design I used as an insert and secured inside my card with DST (Image 2).

Image 3 shows the complete insert used inside a card, as it was designed to be used for.

Will be used lots of times to raise funds for Scotties in need - well done Sheila!.
