I printed the design twice on quality photo paper, cut out the oval from one and used foam pads to mount the one with the aperture over the other.

But before that, I attached some old looking script over the oval, added an epoxy sticker and stitched a lantern charm beside it.

I matted the image onto a brown card base and used various black peel-off stickers to create a frame around it.

I added some faux gems as well and some paper flowers to the design, as shown. This is a wonderful vintage image, too good for just an insert!
