Vintage Father Christmas Insert 1Completed by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

I have used this very quick and easy traditional style insert to accompany the Snowy Post box 3D panel sheet, cup124048_18, a Christmas design by Diane Allen, as I knew they were such a perfect match, with just the right nostalgia feeling, as a greeting card for my dear English friends now living in Australia.

The finished card measures 28.5 x 16.5cm and has a Holly theme, cup479109_936, printed onto white A4 card, then scored and folded and cut to size.

The card front was finished first and the insert design sheet provided I printed once onto an A4 sheet at the actual size and cut out the vertical lines and the corner embellishments to reuse and once at 28cm x 16cm.

The outside vertical lines and corners I then replaced from the larger version.

I will be able to use this as an insert in many Christmas greeting cards for many years as the actual size of the sheet is perfect for large sized card, and can be reduced to fit a smaller card without the need to cut and paste.
