gold ornate insertCompleted by Taina Kankare

I printed the gold ornate insert and cut the other half out. I also removed the text area from the remaining insert. Then I attached an ordinary Christmas card into the aperture.

The card features a traditional rural log house from Finland, as well as a traditional fence and winter birds which live here in the North (bullfinch, great tit and blue tit).

Because we do not have holly or mistletoe growing here, we use rose bushes or rowan trees with berries to give some colour to the snowy landscape.

As you can see, this insert works perfect also as a frame for various occasions. So it is indeed very versatile.
