Printed and cut out design and cut in half at end of shaped piece of the design. This piece was then mounted onto green 'swirly' paper (from my craft stash) with DST and trimmed to leave a narrow border.

This was then mounted onto black card with DST, trimmed to leave a narrow border and secured to front of white base card with DST.

I added my own 'Happy Birthday' sentiment with foam pads. The other half of the design was secured inside the card to make a matching verse.

I'm pleased with how the card turned out and will use it for other occasions by changing the sentiment, or leaving blank for notelets to raise funds for hedgehog rescue.
