Fancy Gatefold Lily Card
When closed this stunning card will not fail to please the receiver. The main section at the top of the card is slightly overlapped by the sides but when opened it will reveal more beautiful lillies. Butterflies can be added to give it a 3D effect and really make this card stand out. Just put the second wing on a foam pad and place on top. Great for birthdays, Mothers Day, Get Well and other occasions.
There are 2 ways to get past the white marks down the side of the card. Either use a backing card of a similar colour. Or use white card and colour the folds in a similar colour before putting the panel on top, then you don't have to be that careful. You could also cover the white area with a border.

I printed and carefully cut out the design pieces on A4 white matt card 200gsm. I put the butterflies together with foam pads. I then stuck the butterflies on the 3 folded parts of the card. Beautiful card to make.
