Scalloped Edge Blank Card with Swirly Border 6Completed by Gail Pennycuick

I printed the design onto quality photo paper, cut it out and layered it onto a square white textured card, with the upper layer raised on foam pads.

Then I centred the puppy image (120513_294) over the top and added punch-out shapes in gold paper along the bottom.

I used faux gems in places amongst the scroll work to finish. This stunning background could be used for many different occasions, depending on what you added to it.
