An exploding card is very easy to make - just follow the step by step instructions. As well as cards in their own right - they can be stuck onto the front of more traditional cards as unusual 3d toppers.
To make this card you need to print out 2 copies of this sheet onto paper, not card. Full instructions on how to assemble the card can be found on the craftsuprint website.

These are quite complicated cards to make and also a bit fiddly but they are quite entertaining for the youngsters.
You really do have to follow the instructions. I printed the card onto photo paper and did the fold on the 2 big squares.
I then stuck the floral pieces together on a 3x12 inch piece of cardboard (this became the card).
