Printed on to good quality 120gsm paper. Cut out and folded the large squares as instructed. I mounted the strips on to gold card,cutting them so that there was a border around them. I did the same with the small images and sentiment.
I then used 2 eyelets for the ribbon which I attached inside between the card and the folded squares as I assembled the card.

With an exploding card the card itself gets tied with ribbon and when you untie the ribbon the pictures inside "explode" out because of the way they have been folded.
