Exploding Card - Tartan Shoes and Bag
With an exploding card, the card itself gets tied with ribbon and when you untie the ribbon the pictures inside "explode" out because of the way they have been folded.
Full instructions are on this website - they are very easy to make and once you've made one or two you won't need the instructions.
Once made you can then either leave the card "as is" or attach it to the front of a larger card as a 3D topper.

Copied to premium paper twice. Cut out all the elements. Once I had come to grips with the folding of the large square it was plain sailing. I found instructions on You Tube Sheila. Made up using d.s.t.
Added a handbag and a pair of shoes at the back of card. Some green cord with sparkles on the end under the birthday greeting. I love the colours and the style, something really different to impress your friends.
