New Beginings Floral Easel CardCompleted by Margaret Swaby
OccasionFor a long time I have looked at this sheet and wondered how to make it into an easel card as just isn't how I would make one.
In the end, I thought , crafters are notorious for being innovative so I would do it my own way, here is what I did.
I took an A5 piece if cream hammered card and folded and creased it in half then creased the top half in half again.
I printed off the sheet and cut out all of the elements.
I used double sided tape to stick the checked piece to the top of the flowered piece at the back and I cut out a section of the base and stuck that lower down so that the back was completely covered.
I then used double sided tape to stick the flowered piece to the folded over flap of the base, centrally.
I used silicone glue to build up the layers of the flowers and placed the medium sized ones to either side of the main topper.
I used the 2 small ones on the base to hold up the easel. For the final touches I added self adhesive gems to the centre of each of the flowers used some peel off corners and sentiments.
If required you could print a verse or sentiment on to a piece of paper and stick it to the underside of the easel.
A really pretty and effective card that was very easy to make.
