Floral Digital Stamps - Colouring / ToppersCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus

I love working with original art work and photographs to make greeting cards and this is one of the cards I have made using several prints of the Chrysanthemums from this sheet provided.

I printed it 4 times at the same size and coloured each one using my wet and dry pencils and then used one of the images to cut away the outside petals.

I used a tool to slightly curl all the petals and dusted them with gold glitter dust glue and set them aside to dry while I assembled the card.

I copied a gift wrapping paper of bright Chrysanthemums onto the outside of a white 120gsm card and cut it down to measure 25.5 x 15cm and attached a 13x11cm textured bright green backing sheet to the card front.

I added the peel off embellishments and the apricot ribbon and bow before attaching a copy of the same wrapping paper to the inside which then hid the tails of the ribbon.

I drew a pen and ink group of stems and leaves and placed this and the 4 Chrysanthemums using the step by step method to form a bunch.

To complete the inside of the card I have added a white sheet for my special message on the right hand side and a small copy of the card front and placed the sentiment on the left hand side.

I also plan to place the recipient’s name with a thank you sentiment on the card front. Pamela Horton. The Whispering Platypus.
