I hoped this large vase of flowers on a Get Well Soon card would make a friend happy. In my drawing program I inserted an image of a brick wall then placed a rectangle on it and filled it with a colour for the inside of a room. Then I drew a long oblong along the bottom of the rectangle and filled it with a darker colour for the window sill. I traced the vase of flowers, positioned them on the window ledge and then printed the design. The flowers were coloured using fineliner pens, and I highlighted the vase design with a marker pen, but did not colour it. Over the design I attached an open window using double sided sticky tape. The completed design was attached to an A5 scalloped edge card folded to landscape.
