Print the stamp twice onto quality cardstock. Cut out one of the total image and the other of just the owl and the wicker under its wings.

Choose a card base (4¼ X 5 ½) I chose a mustard yellow.

Cut a contrasting colour (4¼ X 5¼) I chose a chocolate brown. Glue to card base matching up the bottom edges, Punch a circle in the front of your card. Punch a scalloped circle in yellow. Glue the scallop frame onto the front of the card around the punched out circle. Cut a piece of yellow 4¼ X 2 ¼.

Using a border punch, punch out a border on the top of the yellow piece and glue to the bottom of the card.

Slip the owl piece into hole from the inside of card so only the owl's head shows through the front of the card.

Glue the wicker part of the image to the inside of card. Then glue the complete stamped image in the center of the inside of cover.

This should cover up the front owl and it should not show on the inside. Punch out some corner adorners in the brown and adhere on inside of front cover. Type up the announcement notice and print out on cream coloured paper (match crib material). Adhere to the inside of the card on the right hand side.

There is room to add a sentiment on the front of the card, if you are so inclined. Making up the announcement sheet took a bit of time. Now that I have it saved, the next cards will go together quickly. Other than that, it is a straight forward cut and paste card. Isn't he/she a cutie?
