I chose to make paper beads out of this design, so I printed two copies of it onto plain paper, cut them out and rolled each piece around a skewer.

I glued the end of each one, painted the whole bead with glue to give it some gloss and then left each one to dry.

I used other paper beads I'd made along with some commercial plastic beads to make this necklace, using tiger tail thread and connecting a clasp to the ends.

This design could be used in many different ways; this is just what struck me as possible this time around.
