Floating BellCompleted by Peggy Stogdill

Printed on matte photo paper. I cut out everything and glued the bells together per the instructions, with the separate hanger piece glued into the middle.

I mounted what was left of the base image with DST onto some coordinating paper and then onto a deckle-edged card.

I used a craft knife to cut the circle out of all the layers, then disguised the cut edges a bit with red foil bits (glued on).

Also added some to the red sections of the bell and some gold glitter glue to the gold sections and to outline the base image.

Finally, I glued the hanger on the bell to the hanger on the card with strong glue, and added some peel-off corners and red crystals.

The bell folds flat for mailing, but will open and hang free when the card is standing. Very effective and lots of fun to make!
