Nativity advent calendar
a new window is opened each day to reveal a vintage Christmas image.
Simply cut the windows with a craft knife.
Mount the panel with the scenes on an A5 card front.
Mount the window panel on top of your scenes.

With this design I first printed it out onto photo paper, then after cutting out the elements I placed the window picture sheet onto the front of a gold mirror C5 card, I then cut the three sides of the window sheets and scored the other side so to be folded over when opened, I then placed this onto the picture base, this is a wonderful Christmas design, which was very easy to cut and make up and is stunning once done
I printed the file on C.B's matte photo paper and trimmed the two parts. I scored and cut out all the Windows of the Nativity scene.
I mounted the mini images sheet on the front of a scored and folded
A4 pale green pearlised card using DST. With the narrowest 2 sided tape I covered all the mini picture frames and the outer edges. I carefully glued the nativity scene to this to make the Advent calendar. I added a plain silver glitter border all round and added some tiny glitter dots in the corners. Pale lemon stickles was used on the Baby Jesu"halo" and I outlined and highlighted the 3 Kings' crowns and presents with golden rod stickles and touches of Black diamond and ruby red. The result is a stunning image.These are really quite easy to make and the card format is a handy size, much easier(and cheaper) for posting than the larger sized Advent calendars.
