I printed the sheet on quality cardstock and cut out the calendar. I used double sided tape to assemble the calendar. I cut a pink matte ¼" larger (all around) than the calendar and punched the corners with a decorative, corner, punch.

I then cut a black matte 1¼" larger on the height and the same size as the pink matte on the sides.

I punched out a border along the bottom of the black matte and adhered a pink strip of cardstock behind it, for contrast.

Next I adhered the large, pink matte to the front of the black matte just above the punched border leaving only a ¼" black strip showing at the top.

The calendar was then tucked into the corner slots of the pink matte and Voila! I am now ready to greet 2014 with a very dramatic and classy calendar.
