SNOW GLOBE SHAPED CARD 3 in 1
This is my 3 in 1 card kit, with a lovely picture of a house at Christmas time, inside a snow globe.
This kit includes enough pieces to make a snow globe shaped card that is free standing.
You have a choice to make 3 different styles of card.
1. A shaped card, that opens, and the inside is sky blue with snow falling on the print..
2. Same as above, but with 3D decoupage layers.
3. A shaker card. Probably best to make that without the decoupage layers, but that's up to you :)
There's decoupage, matching inserts, card front, card inside, a piece to make it a shaker card and sentiments. They say: Happy Christmas, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Let it Snow.
The card will fit inside a 7x7" envelope.
*** You will need to buy clear acetate for the window of the shaker card, and fill with glitter etc
Look on YouTube for a tutorial on how to make a shaker card. I just made my first one when I designed this card, it was easy :)
I have a laminator, and used a laminating pouch that I put through the machine, instead of buying acetate.

I printed out the sheets onto 230gsm photo paper, then cut out the elements I was using.
With double sided pads I decoupaged up the layers then I drew around the main image to make a backing, scored it at the top then made the card into a tent fold adding a Christmas insert to the back of the card.
Adding a touch of glitter to the roof tops finished off the beautiful card.
I printed the base of the card onto thick card, then printed the front globe and decoupage onto matte photo paper. I layered the pieces with sticky foam pads.
I also made a shaker card, by putting a laminating pouch through my laminator machine to make a thick piece of clear plastic for the window of the shaker card. If you don't have that, you can buy clear acetate from some craft shops. I cut out the card circle for the shaker window and stuck it onto the acetate with a glue pen, then used foam pads between the window and base of the card, I added the glitter before sticking together.
I also made just a plain flat card, without decoupage.
