I decided to make 2 different sizes of gift basket, so printed the larger one on 2 sheets of smooth card (for the original size),then printed a half size gift basket, with the 2 parts fitting on the same sheet.

I then cut everything out.

I made the boxes up by scoring and folding along heavy black lines.I attached front to back and closed the base with strong DST.

Simple to make, they are very pretty gift baskets for birthdays or other special occasions. The original sized basket is a good size for some toiletries, a silk scarf, maybe 2 mini herb plants in pots.

The half sized basket could be filled with a little bag of lavender, loose sweets or mini gifts for the table,for example.
