Muted Tones Owls Magnetic Bookmarks
Make your own magnetic bookmarks. These bookmarks feature cute owls in muted green and red tones.
These bookmarks fold in half over your book page to mark where you are up to. Not only can they be inserted vertically in a book like other bookmarks, but they can also mark from the side (horizontally), so you can mark exactly where you are up to on the page.

I printed out the image twice for these so that I could use an extra layer to decoupage the owls beak, eyes and eyebrows.
I cut out the individual bookmarks and added the first owl, then with 3d foam pads I added the extra decoupage pieces that I had chosen along with some gem sparkles for the eyes.
I then used a piece of magnetic tape at the bottom of the bookmark on the inside of both the back and front to magnetise it.
I printed the sheet onto glossy photo paper and cut out. I scored and folded each bookmark where indicated and used a corner punch to round off the corners.
I added small magnetic strips to the insides of the bookmarks as indicated and then decoupaged the owls using silicone glue to only half of the design.
I added googly eyes to each owl for a bit of fun. Another brilliant design!
