I cut out my designsed a lace cutter for my border edge, which is narrower than the width of the whole card.

I put some silver mirror paper onto the inner side of the back of the card and added the birthday greeting from the "spine" of the book to the outer edge of my card.

I added some silver ribbon, some bling, a stick on embelishment and a printed greeting and it looks really pretty!
