Anemone Backing PaperCompleted by Darlene Handorff

This deep red anemone backing paper has beautiful ironwork -looking flourish swirls, and was just what I needed to show off a prize winning rose we grew a few years ago.

I printed the backing paper on good glossy photo paper A4 size.

Then I merely folded an eggplant letter sized card stock in half and adhered 1/2 of the backing paper to the front.

I then cut the rose photo and used sticky foam pads to put it on the card. I also cut 2 other little roses and adhered them flush.

I added clear acrylic glue (not yet dry in pic) for the dew drops and ran a thin line of black around the inside edge.

The swirls do give this print a lot of depth. Again this is a print that I really didn't have to do a lot to as it is very rich in color and is very decorative by itself.
