Black Oriental Lotus Colour A4 Backing PaperCompleted by Darlene Handorff

I printed this pattern onto glossy photo paper 2 to a page so I would have enough to use in making an insert for this card. I used DST to attach the pattern to a creamy marbled stiff card stock making the card sized 6? x 8?.

I first added Asian post card from my scrap stash.

Then I used scraps to make the horizontal and vertical designs with scraps of black, gold from advertisement, and Asian stampings that I did of the Asian writings. Then another stamping of the Asian writing and the Coi fish. I finished by making pretty inserts on both inside panels. I enjoyed working with these designs.
