AUTUMN/FALL LEAVES BACKGROUND with Commercial Use
This pretty and versatile background shows autumn sycamore leaves painted in rich shades of gold, russet, orange and red falling and swirling done the background. They'd make a great backdrop for Halloween, Thanksgiving or autumnal cards. But you could also use this sheet (which prints out well at A4 with a small white border for easy printing) as printable gift wrap for small items, or as a sheet of patterned paper in any craft project.
This sheet also with small-scale commercial use, meaning that you can sell any item you hand make with it, on CUP or anywhere else. Happy making!

Although our seasons are different in the southern hemisphere, this is the season I miss most of all. So this background sheet was a must for me.
I photographed some leaves some time ago, and here they are. I have re photographed them onto good quality card, and added jewels and buttons to high light the Autumn shades. I used the tan coloured buttons to highlight the veins in the brown leaf, then added the sequins golden brown and copper sequns, following the same veins. I used a gold cotton thread, and made sure each sequin was well sewn on sometimes needing to use a back stitch.
With the leaf in the gold and green shades, I sorted the sequins into clear gold, opaque dark and light green, sometimes using two together to achieve the shade I wanted. All very easy.
I used a backing sheet on a deep bronze textured card 15x 8.5cm and backed it with a soft orange toned textured card,15.5 x 9cm.
The card front measures 18x 15cm. I made the 2 backing sheets, one with same soft orange textured card,17 x 14.5cm. I edged this with an orange marker, and attached it to the main backing sheet This is the Autumn Leaves designed by Clare Walker. It measures 16.5 x 13cm, and is also edged with an orange marker. I attached these together with double sided tape. I wrapped the brown ribbon around these and then attached them to the card front with double sided tape. I used padded tape to attach the smaller backing sheets. I used regular tape to attach the plain leaves, and then the padded tape to attach the finished jewelled leaves. I used my computer to print out the label and I then coloured it in. I tied a simple bow with some extra brown ribbon.
For the insert I used the main Autumn leaves background sheet and added a brown leaf which I tied with a bow

Printed and trimmed design. I cut a piece of the background paper slightly smaller than my chosen base card and mounted this onto black card with DST and trimmed to leave a narrow border, before securing to front of cream base card with DST.
I made a topper by using one of my own photographs,which I mounted onto black card with DST and trimmed to leave a narrow border, before securing to front of base card with foam pads.
Card was completed by adding sparkly gold ribbon. The autumn coloured leaves on the background paper match beautifully with an autumnal image taken in a stubble field. By adding an appropriate sentiment this card can be used for lots of occasions.
