Pretty Lace Background Paper in Turquiose/lilacCompleted by Gwyneth George

I printed the sheet onto Super Smooth white card. I took the turquoise side and embossed a pattern on it using one of the Keepsake Embossing boards. I then cut this out around the outside of the largest embossed shape and stuck it to some holographic silver card. This card was trimmed to leave an even border around the panel before sticking this matted panel to the frount of a deep blue A5 card. I decorated one of the embossed lies with wavy silver border peeloffs and the corners of the card with four silver embossed peeloffs.

I gook the lilac part of the sheet and used a flower paper punch and punched out lots of shapes. These shapes were then folded and shaped vefore I added a centre with a purple glitter gel pen. These flowers were then stuck with glue gel to the centre of the embossed panel.

Lovely shades of backgrounds that, as I've shown by punching flowers out of one, don't just have to be used as backing sheets.
