BLUE FLORAL BACKGROUND/BACKING PAPER: A4 With Commercial UseCompleted by Pamela Horton The whispering Platypus
OccasionI have used this Blue Floral background, backing sheet today as a backing sheet for the stitching design Mandala, cup894426_1549, a design By Emy van Schaik.
I have completed this stitching design in yellow and several shades of blue.
The beading is completed in royal blue and a pale pearl blue, and this floral design by Clare is a perfect match for the final image I had in mind for the project.
I have also completed the insert using a 13.5 x 14.5 image of the floral backing sheet, and a single image of the flower.
The soft texture look of the insert is achieved by using a sheet of floral etched vellum cut to the full size of the insert pages.
I have also made several small gift cards, using a single flower from the sheet, the same vellum and gloss white card.
These look really lovely, and I love the effect the vellum has either on top of the floral image or underneath the floral image.
