Easter Backgrounds - Bunnies & ChicksCompleted by Jean-Marie Penny

I love this design and didn't want to hide it so decided to do some silhouette designs. I had made 2 iris folding Easter cards and used the waste shapes that I had cut out. Both are made the same way.

I printed 2 sheets of the background onto 250gsm card and cut them to 10 x 7 and folded them in half to make 5 x 7 cards.

I drew around the chick and the rabbit onto black 300gsm card and cut them out. I stuck each animal, slightly offset, onto its respective black image with a wet glue, to leave a narrow black line on one edge.

Then matched the designs up with the back ground to achieve the silhouette look. I then added a text plate with a wet glue. Great for posting as they're quite flat.
