White Christmas Snowflakes Backing Paper

Any Christmas greeting card will benefit from a red background sheet and particularly when the embellishment is like this one and has white snowflakes.

I have used this background sheet 4 times this week.

I used it as a main backing sheet for a stitched and beaded card, and for the insert of this same card.

I also used it for a different beaded card that was not labelled as a Christmas image, however, I used the traditional white red and green hues to good effect and used the background sheet as the backing sheet for the 1 page easel card and for the back of this easel card, which is the Christmas round stitched design, cup280496-1549, I printed the background sheet onto both sides of an A4 white card at the original sizing for the sheet provided.

I then cut it to measure 29x 15cm, and scored and folded it before using D.S. tape to attach the topper to the front.

I edged the backing sheet with a red permanent pen to disguise any white edges and then continued to complete the card front with the embellishments.

I then opened the card to the inside to expose the insert and attached the sentiment and the verse on the top section of the insert, and added a blank white piece to the lower section of the insert for my personal greeting.

The easel card is technically not an easel but has a small metal plate stand to accompany it to the receiver, so it is a flat card front, made from cup724076_1549, floral border design, by Emy van Schaik.

I have cut the main backing sheet for this card front from the sheet provided which this time I printed at 29cm x 29cm, which gave me an almost full A4 print to then cut down to fit this flat card front at 17cm x 16cm.

I defined the edges with the red pen and then attached a red glitter backing sheet using red power tape.

The 3 strips of ribbon I had attached to the back of the completed topper before then attaching this card front to the 2 backing sheets using D.S. tape.

I then used an even smaller sized print of the backing sheet to attach to the back of the card and added the verse I had used as above.

This is a very useful, bright and Christmassy backing sheet with the versatility because of the original size to manipulate the sizing of the print to suit almost every need for a backing sheet.
