Woven Ribbon Card - Hugs TeddiesCompleted by Shelagh E Osborn Wright

To make this card I printed on to glossy photo paper cut out the card image and decopage parts,then following the instructions on the sheet, very carefully cut out the marked semicircles.I used a cream satin ribbon one side and a light green with narrow pink ribbon for the other side to do the weaving.

I glued the decorated card piece behind the woven strip covering the holes, then outlined the bear image with narrow shiny black and pink peel off strips to cover the frame edges.I matted the card toper on to some pretty pink card and attached this to a book fold cream pearl base card.Then I added the decoupage pieces with 3D foam, some clear glitter to the flowers and 2 cream ribbon bows to the top and bottom of the weaving strip.

It's the first time Ive seen (and made) a woven ribbon card and it does look very pretty when finished.
