Beautiful pansies with cute faces and put together in a delightful design.
I used a white card 29.5cm x 21cm & used D.S tape,& purple craft paper 14.8 x 21 as a backing sheet.
I used vellum 9 x 13cm and a white pen and the medium
ball tool, and completed the pansies. I printed the sheet twice in C.B's Matte white copy paper. I cut out all the elements from the first sheet, including the aperture. I used vellum D.S tape on the edges of the drawing and attached it to the purple oval.I then traced the position for the aperture onto the purple backing sheet and used D.s tape to attach the purple oval. I then used D.S tape to attach the 1st topper
From the 2nd Sheet I then removed the frame from the topper in one piece and did the same with the lace shape Both of these I backed with firm scrap cardboard using D.s.tape I then attached the frame to the card front. I used narrow purple white stripe ribbon to tie around the lace frame on both sides, and over the top of this mauve organza 2.5 cm wide ribbon and tied tiny single bows and attached these both firmly at the rear of the lace frame. I used large ,thick D.s foam strips to attach the lace frame to the card.I edged the card with a purple alcohol pen. Used the white pen to make a running stitch look around the edge of the
vellum. I used small thinner D.s Foam squares step by step to complete the decoupage.
I used the elements left over from the second sheet behind some vellum for the insert. An expensive look to a beautiful card. Thank you Russ
