I printed the design onto 220gsm card and carefully cut out the main image and decoupage pieces.

For the base I used an 8" x 8" white card blank. I matted and layered the topper onto gold mirri card, which works really well with the warm golden tones in the design and gives the finished card a smart, polished look.

I then built up the teddy bear and other details using foam pads, adding extra dimension to the image.

The soft floral background, lace-style detailing and large satin bow give the card a lovely elegant feel, while the teddy bear keeps the design warm and friendly. The “So sorry you’re leaving” tag finishes the card perfectly.

I really like how the gold mirri card catches the light and frames the image without taking attention away from the teddy.
