Pretty Flowers on Vintage Lace with Butterfly A4Completed by Susan P. B.

I copied this design four times, two to a page on matt photo paper. I matted pale brown card to white card added the navy blue and the pink lace, fixed with d.s.t.. I then matted to deep navy blue card. I cut out the center lace mat and layed that on the lace using glue. I then used all the images for decoupage which in places is four layers deep. For this I used sticky pads and glue. I used a little pink glitter on the butterfly. I tied a pink lace bow, leaving long tales and attached that with extra stong hold glue.

This design is beautiful without a lot of messing about. I had the lace and this gave me an opportunity to use it, to make something that is worth the effort. A special card for that special person.
