I printed the sheet using the two to a page setting - so I could use the second as decourpage.

I cut out both the sheets, one adhering to a 5 x 7 Crafty Bob's scalloped edge card base and the other cutting around the gorgeous teal rose, butterfly and happy birthday sentiment tag to use for the decourpage.

Which I then mounted with foam tape. I added some light green Liquid Pearl dots to the stripes up to the turned page and peacock Liquid Pearl dots on the butterfly's wing.

Just to finish off - adding a silver thread tied in a bow on the spine.

Simple yet elegant.
