I printed the design twice onto quality photo paper, cut out the mermaid from one and decoupaged it onto the other copy.
Onto a scalloped white card I layered a rectangle of dark blue card, trimmed top and bottom with scalloped scissors, then a layer of white also trimmed but covering only half of the blue.
I attached the image over these and added dark blue gems to complete the card. This design could be used for a host of different purposes.
