Santas Place
This is a favourite of mine, Santa checking his list surrounded by presents and ready for your own personal touches of the Christmas spirit.
This sheet has a topper for the inside of a gatefold card and of course the doors are for the outside.
Place the tags on the inside behind the door of the card for extra dimension instead of a verse leaving the other side for your message.

I printed the design on matte photo paper and cut out all the pieces. If, like me, you have to make the base gate-fold card it is quite simple. The main pieces are 5.5" tall so I cut a piece of brown card 5.5" x12" and scored 3" from one end. I folded this and stuck one door close to the fold, I then trimmed the excess. I opened the card and flat stuck the insert close to the same fold. I then scored on the opposite side of the insert to form the 2nd side of the door. I folded this section and flat stuck the remaining door piece close to the fold before trimming the excess.
In this way all pieces of the design fit perfectly and there is minimal wastage. I added my chosen greetings to the insides of the doors (see the 2nd picture for the fully open view of my card).
It sounds complicated but this card was a delight to make and looks wonderful!
