Velcro / hook & loop 6" length 3/4" wide, cut to size of black lined boxes on pattern panels - use sticky back or adhere sew on kind with strong glue line E6000

Instructions:

Cut out 6 panels

cut away corners, inner and outer, cut away corners along lines

fold flaps or seam allowances under

hole punch all circle holes, including the holes for the brooch pin back on panels 3 & 4, as well as the 2 holes for hanging the frame as an ornament on panels 3 & 4

thread ribbon through 7 circle holes on panel 2 & 3 to make photo pocket, thread in both directions

knot and glue down on both sides, trim excess ribbon,

optional to add hook & loop / velcro to panels 2 & 3 for photo pocket closure, but use strong glue like E6000 or sticky back velcro, to hold hook & loop on well, assemble and glue panels together

add ribbon to bottom right corners of strut leg and EB to connect them, to allow frame to stand

To finish for frame to stand, place and glue ribbon between bottom right layers of strut leg panels, and attach top part of strut leg to easel back panel, aligning the bottom right corners, before gluing down top part of strut leg panels. Push the dangling ribbon tail in front of standing frame, with ribbon tail under bottom of frame, and in front of frame, and mark where frame stands on its own, by placing a pin where ribbon meets bottom back corner, to mark where strut leg pitches out for it to stand well, trim to 1-2" and tuck inside bottom right little opening for ribbon on bottom right of easel back, glue in place

For removable strut leg

connect top part of strut leg to easel back with Velcro / hook & loop

allow for 2 hook & loop tab lengths of ribbon in front of the frame, cut excess ribbon, leaving enough to fold 2 hook & loop tab lengths of ribbon, fold ribbon in twice, toward frame, glue "hook" or rough hook & loop to ribbon tail folded in twice, attach ribbon to easel back "loop" tab on back bottom right corner of easel back.

If you want to use the frame as just a tabletop frame, make sure to leave a little pocket open for ribbon at the bottom of the frame, between panels 3 & 4 for the ribbon that connects the strut leg to the easel back. After you insert the ribbon inside the bottom right side of the 2 strut leg panels, and after you attached the top of the strut panels to the easel back with hot glue, pull the ribbon out in front of the frame, hanging from the bottom of the strut leg, stand the frame and pitch the leg so that it stands alone, and place a pin where ribbon meets bottom back corner, to mark where strut leg pitches out for it to stand well, cut excess ribbon, leaving enough to tuck into little pocket on bottom right corner of frame, between the easel back panel 4 & panel 3 under it.

If sewing or making washable no sew frame, print design sheet onto washable, inkjet fabric, iron Ultrahold, HeatnBond Lite or Featherlite fabric adhesive to the back, adhesive facing down onto back, cut out panels, hole punch circle holes, trim edges, cut away corners at outer corners and inner corners, fold down seam allowances, iron down flaps, then you can sew your panels along the outer edges, just make sure that you leave an opening between panels 2 & 3 for the photo pocket.

If you want to wash the fabric versions of the frame, take out the photo and its protective sleeve, also remove the hanging ribbon and the metal pin back, place in a lingerie bag in a cold, delicate cycle wash, no fabric softener, use only mild detergent like Woolwash from Dollar Tree or Wool-lite. Air dry standing on a towel.

Thank you all so much!
