I printed two sheets onto card stock paper. I chose to cut down an 8x10 sheet of card stock to a 5x7 for my card base. I adhered the blue and white checked backing paper to the original card base.

I cut out the elements from the first sheet and attached it to the backing paper using two sided tape.

I cut the elements out of the second sheet for decoupage using foam mounting pads. I sharpened the colors of the card by using colored pencils. I punched holes in the top of the card using a hole puncher.

I then finished the card by running large blue ribbon through the holes and tying a bow at the top of the card.
