Romeo and Juliet A4 Card FrontCompleted by Janet Horne
OccasionI printed on 250gm gloss card 4 slightly smaller than A5 copies of this design.
I altered one copy,C3, cutting out the hand and replacing it with 'cut and paste' material to match the bodice. (not essential if you are not able to do) I cut the full design rectangle as the first layer.
C1. For the second layer C2, I cut the copy in half along the central figure outlines leaving the edges straight.
I used the rule that the most forward sect ions edges gave the outline so I included the boys hand but cut along the line of his chin to part the two.
I cut the two heads from another copy C4, and also each of the two arms. I cut the two complete characters C3, out next from the altered print. I then stuck a thin edge of C2 down the side of C1 I left the middle loose.
I used a few 2mm foam pads to dec. the design. I used 2mm foam pads for the next layer and also to add the heads and arms.
I bent the boys shape out more than the girls and then stuck the whole design onto a shaped A5 blank card which left a good edge all round and room for 'Good Luck' etc.
Finished off with peeloff edging.
