A4 Red Red RoseCompleted by Shelagh E Osborn Wright

I printed the image on photo paper,trimmed it and attached to a large dark red bookfold card using DST and added a gold peeloff edging. I resized, printed and cut out 3 pages of mini book cup 6087.I shaped the pages, added a gold edging to the bottom layer and attached to my card with a mix of narrow DST,1mm and 2mm foam to give it a good shape. I added a gold sentiment in Catalan to the book and SANT JORDI to the main image. I completed my card with 2 mini bows in red and yellow stripes(Catalan colours) and a pretty lavender butterfly.

* This is a special card to celebrate S.Jordi, patron saint of Catalonia. (Saint George). It is a very widely extended custom over here to give and receive a rose and a book to our nearest and dearest of all ages.
