You can make your own, totally customized bookmarks by using available computer software and complementary perforated card stock, vinyl sleeves and rayon floss tassels. This program and these supplies bring within reach of the average or beginning computer user the ability to make beautiful, inexpensive bookmarks .

Steps

  1. Open a blank bookmark template (Vendor supplied Word document frames) onto your computer screen.
  2. Highlight the "bookmark frames" into which you wish to import a bookmark backfill image.
  3. Select backfill graphic from a multitude of backfills available or use your own photograph.
  4. Key in any text of your choice (select typestyle, text size/color/etc.
  5. Print template images onto perforated cardstock placed in your inkjet printer.
  6. If you wish to print on the reverse side of your bookmarks create a second template of images and run the cardstock through you printer again.
  7. Fold and tear on the perforated seams to produce finished bookmarks.
  8. Slip bookmark into vendor supplied bookmark sleeve in lieu of lamination to provide bookmark rigidity and protection.
  9. Sleeve provides triangular tip for vendor supplied tassels.

Tips

  • Software requires Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Word.
