I cut the base from 200gsm white card and the different layers from 160gsm card. A beautiful card that is not difficult to make and is sure to impress recipients.
This makes a fabulous card which can double up as a decoration by placing led tealights behind it.
I cut the layers out using various card stock. The buildings are in a grey and yellow brick effect card. The fence is rose gold matt finish gloss card and the carriage is in black card. I used red and silver glitter card for the base layers.
This assembles really easily and looks great both with or without the lights behind. I love how it folds flat for posting
The finished dimensions are 17x28.5cm card base. Height when open 7cm.
This was my first time buying and uploading a cutting file into design space. This is such a lovely card to make. I just uploaded the files and cut them onto cream card. I used the same card for all the layers. Card folds easily for posting.
I have placed light behind to show the layers better. I look forward to making the other pop up designs.
